Visit Dutch national cultural funds Caribbean part of the Kingdom

Between November 7 and 19, the six national cultural funds from the Netherlands will embark on a joint visit to the Caribbean part of the Kingdom, including the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Maarten. This collaborative initiative follows previous visits by the funds, conducted both individually and partly together, during which they gathered valuable insights into the needs and aspirations of local creators, institutions, and cultural organizations.

The aim of this joint visit is to provide feedback on the knowledge and experiences gathered during these earlier visits. This feedback will be shared through an engaging program on each island, featuring visits to local cultural institutions, individual meetings, and networking events.

We warmly invite the cultural sector to join us at the networking events, where participants will have the opportunity to engage with the delegation, share their experiences, and discuss ideas for the future. In addition to the meeting on November 11, the other national cultural funds will host networking sessions:

- Thursday, November 7 – St. Maarten from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM at NIA
