In September 2026, makers from the talent development programme presented their work at two festivals: GLUE Amsterdam and Conflux Festival in Rotterdam. Through the collaboration between the Fund and the festivals, the 2025–2026 cohort had the opportunity to show their practice in a context that aligns with their work and to further expand their network.

At GLUE, work by six designers (Amy Lewis, Teresa Fernández Pello, Juyun Lee, Mathild Clerc-Verhoeven, Kaixin Chen and Maaike Rabbinge) was on display at various locations across Amsterdam. Visitors could see product designs, spatial installations and the results of material research. Their presentations were part of the annual design route that connects designers, galleries, showrooms and architects.

A week later, Conflux presented the exhibition Stimuleringsfonds presents talent at the Keilepand. 15 emerging makers showed work at the intersection of art, design and technology: Johannes Equizi, Miao Li, Maaike Rabbinge, Shin Hua Yang, Kaj Boonstra, Justyna Chmielewska, Hung Lu Chan, Sangmin Oh, Gaia D'Arrigo, Yufei Gao, Jan Zuiderveld, Bart Brinkman, Noémie Tshisumpa, Sankrit Kulmanochawong and Hsin Min Chan.

The exhibition brought together a wide range of practices, from research into leftover materials and industrial systems to installations about physicality, cultural identity, everyday rituals and alternative futures. Together, the makers showed how design and art can contribute to new perspectives on the societal and technological issues of our time.

We look back on two inspiring collaborations and are proud of the makers who shared their work with a wide audience.
