When can you apply for a grant, how does it work and what do you need to be aware of? The Creative Industries Fund NL and Mondriaan Fund are jointly organising an online information session on grant possibilities for artists and designers who have already graduated or are close to graduation. Sign up through the form below and participate on 14 January 2026, from 16:00 to 17:30 Dutch time (11:00 to 12:30 Carribean time).

The Get a Grant Event gives an overview of what the Creative Industries Fund NL and Mondriaan Fund can offer starting creative professionals. Are you looking for funding for your project or practice? Employees from the two funds will tell you about the grant possibilities. In addition, two recipients of the grants will talk about their experiences in submitting an application and answer questions from the public. During the meeting you may ask questions.

get a grant events

The Creative Industries Fund NL and the Mondriaan Fund regularly organise joint Get a Grant events: meetings to informe arly-career artists and designers, students, and alumni about the grant opportunities offered by both funds.

talent development grant programme

The Talent Development Grant Scheme of the Creative Industries Fund NL is open for applications once a year to designers and makers who have one up to four years work experience in the field of design, architecture or digital culture in the Netherlands. The scheme closes 10 February 16:00 CE(S)T 2026. The Fund is organising several writing sessions in January to help applicants in writing their development plans.

artist start

The Artist Start grant of the Mondriaan Fund is for visual artists who have been working professionally for a minimum of one to a maximum of four years and who want to further develop their art practice. That can include making work, research, experimentation, the purchase of materials and equipment, and so on. Or it could be used for working on a commission or participating in exhibitions or events at home or abroad. Applications can be submitted at any time of the year.
