Architectural Aid Agency (Remi Groenendijk) - Warung TanahThe Warung Tanah project by architect Remi Groenendijk explores emission-free building with earth (Tanah) and local materials. During the eight-week residency, Groenendijk will first conduct local building research, after which he will experiment with methods to build a sustainable, small-scale pavilion or restaurant. The project ends with the joint construction of a structure, made of earth blocks and local materials such as bamboo, which demonstrates the potential of emission-free building and contributes to local building culture.
