Thuis revolves around the bodily experience of IX. The consortium wishes to research how immersive experiences can foster deeper feelings of connection, belonging and the intangible sense of ‘being at home’. To that end, the consortium will develop somatic approaches and experiments in (semi)public spaces to involve people who might otherwise not have access to IX. It will also investigate how shared immersive experiences can help in community building.
