Milan 2018: Dutch Invertuals B.V. | Dutch Invertuals B.V.
amount_issued: € 9.975
Design collective Dutch Invertuals is presenting New Waste Materials, the 18th in a series of exhibitions under the direction of curator Wendy Plomp. Ten to fifteen designers give their personal design vision on a socially relevant theme and each creates a new work. Current and future social challenges are always at the basis of the chosen theme, for instance energy issues, conflict patterns and digitalization. These issues are approached from a design perspective. The design visions are merged to become a single collective presentation to the public. The provisional selection of participating designers comprises Daniel de Bruin, Thomas Ballouhey, Léa Baert, Bram Vanderbeke, Xandra van der Eijk, Edhv, Jeroen van Veluw, Emilio Timp, Bart Schalekamp and a number of newly scouted young talents. By presenting quality design internationally with a strong, contemporary and future-oriented vision, Dutch Invertuals aims to give substance to the concept of 'design'.
