LAUNCHPAD NINE – Circular Alliance for a Sustainable Future of Immersive Experiences | Ruimtetijd (lead applicant)
LAUNCHPAD NINE aims to transform the fragmented Dutch IX sector by building an artist-centered infrastructure unifying creation, production, exhibition, and education. Its programme generates openly accessible methodologies and toolkits, creates sustainable talent pathways, and reclaims imaginaries by challenging technology-driven paradigms.
The programme operates across intensive residencies structured around research through practice with emerging and established artists and collectives, engaged via an open call. Each residency includes workshops, prototyping, and public activations. Artistic creation processes function as the primary research engine, with residencies generating insights across three research groups: ‘pedagogy, knowledge exchange & documentation’, ‘sustainable production workflows’, and ‘audience engagement & experience’.
