Alina Paias graduated from TU Delft in 2022 with an MSc in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences. Paias positions herself within the field of architecture as a spatial designer, researcher, curator and writer. Since graduating in 2022, Paias has been working on a practice that focuses on contributing to structural debates within architecture.

Paias does this through, for example, exhibitions, published texts and presentations. She is interested in how designing and building architecture shapes the architect themself, and how this in turn influences new designs. During the development year, Paias will, among other things, research Dutch architectural firms, take courses in curating and Dutch, and write an essay on the relationship between design and construction in Dutch architectural practice.
