Three years Upstream: Music x Design
Three years ago in January 2019 the Performing Arts Fund, Sena and Creative Industries Fund NL, started a new grant scheme to support pop and urban artists, designers and makers. The name of this scheme is Upstream.
The Upstream: Music x Design Grant Scheme is implemented by the Creative Industries Fund NL and is intended for projects in which artists work together with designers and makers on new applications of design, visual culture and technology within music.
With the help of Upstream, the funds and Sena want to broaden and strengthen the music industry in the Netherlands, present a stronger international presence and stimulate crossovers to other disciplines. Talent development, professionalization, innovation and experimentation are central.
